Learn, Grow, Thrive: Delivering on the Promise of Healthy Schools - A Virtual Symposium on School-Based Health
Join the California Virtual Training Academy (VTA+) and the California Department of Public Health Safe Schools for All (SS4A) Team for a virtual symposium on school-based health. The symposium will take place on Wednesday, April 26, 10am - 2pm.

This symposium is intended for education administrators (e.g., superintendents, principals), school-based health partners (e.g., clinic directors, school nurses), health officials (e.g., local health agencies, community clinics), and others to enrich our collective understanding of benefits and considerations to providing health services in K-12 settings.

This symposium will explore:

*Recognizing the connections between health and education outcomes

*Approaches to improve student health, well-being, and attendance

*Strategies for achieving gains with limited resources

*Pearls and pitfalls when implementing health programs in school settings

Live captioning services will be used.

Please note the capacity for this symposium is 1000 attendees. If zoom capacity is reached on the day of the event, the recording will be available after the session concludes on the Safe Schools for All and VTA+ websites.
