Join us from 12:00-2:00 pm on October 20th for a three-part event about activism in design.
12:00 pm, Gallery Tour. The event begins with Dana Cuff and the cityLAB team on a walk through the exhibition of their most provocative current projects, shown in a virtual Perloff Hall.
12:20 pm, Panel 1: Design for Spatial Justice in Los Angeles. Moderator Christopher Hawthorne talks with civic leaders Tony Brown, Cecilia Estolano, and Robin Hughes about leveraging design to address urgent urban issues.
1:00 pm, Panel 2: Activist Paths for Architects. Join a conversation with these invited, creative practitioners who carve politically-engaged paths in architecture: Teddy Cruz, Fonna Forman, Dana McKinney, and Alan Ricks, moderated by Peggy Deamer.
At the close, attendees will be invited to roam independently through the exhibition.
