L.A. Social Movements: New Research by UCLA Postdoctoral Scholars in Ethnic Studies

Please join us for a webinar event featuring UCLA postdoctoral scholars in ethnic studies presenting new research on social movements in Los Angeles. Speakers include Elizabeth Hanna Rubio, Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow at the Asian American Studies Center and David C. Turner III, Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow at the Bunche Center for African American Studies. Stevie Ruiz, Associate Professor of Chicana/o Studies at Cal State Northridge and the 2021-22 Institute of American Cultures Visiting Research Scholar at the Chicano Studies Research Center, will be the discussant. A Q&A will follow the presentations. Veronica Terriquez, CSRC Director, will introduce the event.
